EconSoc have arranged a very high profile event with guest speaker Michael Simcock who is currently Head of Fixed Income in Europe at GIC (Government of Singapore Investment Corporation)
GIC are one of the world’s leading sovereign wealth funds, managing Singapore’s growing reserves and investing them globally. With offices in all the leading financial capitals of the world they have an extremely broad reach.
Michael will give out hints and tips on how to stand out to employers in competitive markets such as Investment Banking, how he progressed through his career working for a global institution that allows him amazing travel opportunities. He will also talk about what working for a Sovereign Wealth fund involves, his opinion on the current Eurozone crisis, and at the end there will be a question and answer session.
